How to get a ticket for the Team Digital Business Summit...
...even if you don't work for a team
"At large" tickets available here
Sports Marketing 2.0 is presenting three Team Digital Business Summit events this spring. (see details below) These events are intended for employees of team sports organizations and invited guests only. If you do not work for a team, but you want to attend, there will be only (5) tickets made available for “at large” attendees at each event. These tickets are offered on a first come, first served basis. If you want to be in the room with the team executives, but you don't work for a team, then the "at large" ticket is the only way to go. Remember, there are only five "at large" tickets for each event. Please reserve yours soon.
Below you will find complete description of the Team Digital Business Summit Series.

What is the Team Digital Business Summit?
A Series of 1/2 day, regional conferences focused on the digital side of team sports. These events have one goal: to help teams increase revenues from digital media. To do this we need all departments in the room: sales, marketing, Web, tickets and senior management. Unlike other conferences that focus on public media properties, this is all about team-level business.
| New York | Chicago | San Francisco | |
| Date | May 20 | May 28 | June 4 |
| Time | noon to 5:30 pm | noon to 5:30 pm | noon to 5:30 pm |
| Venue |
NYU - Kimmel Center 60 Washington Square S. NY, NY |
Northwestern University 210 S. Clark Chicago, IL |
"Facebook HQ" (Tentative) Palo Alto, CA - TBD |
Why should you attend? Digital remains one of the few growth areas in this down economy, but few teams are maximizing revenue from their Websites and E mail. The Team Digital Business Summit will help teams learn practical ways to cash in from digital media. The event will also help attendees build their personal networks among peers throughout pro sports.
Convenient, ½ day format: Some teams struggle to earn money from digital simply because they haven’t had time to research the market. Team execs are often too busy to attend conferences or to compare notes with their peers at other teams, let alone other leagues; and many don’t have travel budgets either. So to make it easier and to help hold down costs, we’re arranging this series of three, ½ day events in various cities across the country.
Who should attend? This is not just another technology conference. It is about team business. Digital business. Attendees will include executives from all departments: sales and marketing management, ticket sales and operations, senior management and New Media managers. This conference will reach across departments and across leagues. It'll be like an "inter-league" meeting focused on learning and networking among peers...but without the league setting the agenda. Designed by teams, for teams:
Special thanks to the following team executives who are serving on our regional host committees.

What will you learn? The summits will focus on digital sponsorship sales and social media. We will also touch on Email / CRM, E-commerce and Website operations. Much of the content will be provided by the teams themselves. We will feature real world case studies not hypothetical cases.
What do sponsors want? Teams love to learn what other teams are doing, so we’re lining up some great case studies which will be presented by team executives. But teams also need to learn what buyers want, so we are inviting a few non-team folks to help educate us about the digital media marketplace, and to help sports teams develop their sales, marketing and technology strategies.
Guest Speakers: Each regional summit will feature presentations from sports teams as well as special guests. Following is a list of our guest speakers for each event.
